Bicycle Fitting
Fitting your bicycle properly is very important for comfort and safety. In 'old world' thinking it was believed that if you can stand over the top tube of a bicycle and had an inch or two of clearance, it was a great fitting bike. Now bicycle manufacturers are making bicycles with sloping top tubes, adjustable stems and forward set bottom brackets, dramatically changing the way a bicycle fits in relation to just the seat tube size. There are a number of variables that dictate what makes a bike fit you. For example you may have a longer torso, shorter legs, an injury or disability. Let our knowledgeable staff help you make your new or old bike fit you. We believe that a bike should be a joy to ride and not uncomfortable.
Repairs
Not a problem. We'll fix and replace parts as necessary, and get you back riding again.
Installing electric motors on bikes, assembling or modifying a tricycle or recumbent are commonplace around here. Tune-ups and repairs, alterations and upgrades keep us busy seven days a week.
Overhauls
Our complete overhaul includes removing and degreasing the drive train, disassembling all bearing assemblies for inspection, parts replacement and greasing. We use only high quality lubricants, to your specifications or ours.
We also service all makes of internally geared hubs.
Tune Ups
We'll make a careful inventory of your bike when you bring it into the shop, then give you a detailed estimate for the repair.
